Harley Gas Tank Liner Peeling. then toward end of day i checked the gas level (it was low) and saw some sort of yellow plastic wafer thing in the tank. How do i fix this?? I also am having a new fuel line, fuel filter, and fuel regulator. i did a tank that sat for 10 years with gas in it. it is now at a harley dealership having the gas tank resealed. went to drain the gas tank to change the fuel filter (efi). has anyone run into a problem with the inside liner of a gas tank from a 2002 wideglide peeling?? Looked down into it to see a spot that looked like paint was.
